How much does it cost to deposit or withdraw money?

Deposits are free of charge in all branches and at the MPS Group's advanced ATMs. Withdrawals using the first debit card are free of charge from any ATM in Italy, whereas abroad a €2 charge will be applied. Withdrawals using the second debit have a €1 charge but are free if the amount withdrawn exceeds €100.

How can I receive a credit card? What costs are involved?

The Bank reserves the right to approve your request depending on your assets and income.

How can I have a Prepaid Card? How much does it cost?

To request the Maxi Prepaid Card, you must have a Widiba Account. To request it, enter Widiba and type Card Requests. Choose a layout among those offered! The Prepaid Card has an annual fee of €10 and can be topped-up online free of charge.

How long does it take to receive a card?

The Credit Card is delivered via first class mail within 7 working days from Widiba's approval. The Debit Card and the Maxi Prepaid Card are delivered by courier within 4/5 working days from the request. The cards are dispatched free of charge!

What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

In case of loss, theft or cloning, call the Toll-Free Number to block your card: 800 992 100 for Credit Cards (+390234980176 from abroad), 800 822 056 for Debit and Prepaid Cards (+390260843768 from abroad). An operator will instantly block your card from use worldwide, for greater peace of mind.

How can I check my Credit Card payments?

To check your credit card transactions, enters Widiba and type Credit card transactions. Here you will also find your monthly statement.

Are bank transfers free of charge?

Online SEPA bank transfers in Italy and Europe are free of charge, while 10 € is charged for non SEPA transfers; it is also possible to transfer money from MPS branches at a cost of 2 €. Online bank transfers regarding tax benefits, standing orders, and online inter-account transfers are free of charge.

What is BANCOMAT Pay®?

With BANCOMAT Pay®, you can instantly send and receive money in real time to all contacts in your address book who have joined the Jiffy service, using their telephone number. It's quick and easy like sending an SMS!

What does contactless mean?

Contactless technology is an innovative payment method that allows you to make purchases simply by touching your card against a contactless reader, without swiping it or entering a PIN number. The spending limit for contactless transactions is 25 € for Visa and MasterCard.

What are advanced ATMs, and what can they do?

Through the MPS Group's network of advanced ATMs, you deposit cash, banker's drafts and cheques into your Widiba account, in addition to performing all the classic transactions provided by an ATM. Enter Widiba and type Branches and ATMs.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is the free security service that protects you when making purchases online, matching your card with your certified mobile number. At the end of every payment, you will receive a text message with a confirmation code that you must enter on the web site you are buying from.

I have received a new card, can I use it immediately with Apple Pay or Google Pay?

If the card you received is new, before adding it to your wallet remember to enable it, using the relevant feature on the Widiba website or app.
In the event of a replacement, to add the card to the wallet for the first time, or to continue using if it had previously been added, first enable the card by making a transaction with your PIN number.

Important: if the card is not enabled, the process will be blocked.
